My name is Alyssa Jayne Morse-Salvati and I am a professional translator passionate about food and cooking. My love of gastronomy is something that I inherited from my family. Eating well and often has always been part of our family celebrations, as well as our day-to-day life. I read cookbooks as if they were literature and love to scour articles and blogs about the latest trends in the food world and the newest restaurants.
I have a degree in Spanish from Tufts University and have a certificate in Spanish to English translation from New York University. I also completed a Masters in Food and Nutritional Journalism at the Universidad de Complutense de Madrid, as well as various seminars on translation.
I have been working as a translator for the past seven years, both as an in-house translator at a large international firm and as an in-house reviser for a Spanish translation agency. Currently, I work as a translator at NachTee Translation Services, my own personal project.
